TACTILE MAPS AND PLANS
A tactile map can show a plan of a room, a park or a street. Maps contain both tactile and visual information. Thus, they can be used by anyone, regardless of the state of his vision. Traffic lines, streets and other designations are made in relief. The text is dubbed in Braille. Maps are readable by touch. The size of the map depends on the amount of tactile information. Braille usually takes up a little more space than regular font.
