TACTILE MAPS, PLANS OF PREMISES AND STREETS
On the tactile map can be shown a plan of premises, park or a street. Maps contain tactile and visual information. In such a way these can be used by any person regardless the state of his/her vision. Lines directing the movement, streets, and other symbols are tree-dimensional. The text is duplicated with Braille. It is possible to read maps by touch. The size of maps depends on the quantity of the tactile information. Braille usually takes a little bit more space than a regular typeface.
