In 2011 and 2012, the “Ray of Hope” benefit concerts were held at the Ulbroka Cultural Centre in the
spring.

The events were attended by pupils from the Strazdumuiži boarding school for blind children and
pupils from the Ulbroka music school.

At the concert, donations were collected, which we used to make the first tactile cards. The cards
are still in the boarding school and the children use them successfully.
