Sometimes we get together as a cheerful, active company and go on a trip. We chip in for petrol,
and off we go! So far, we have been exploring sights in Latvia. We travel in groups of 2, 5 or 9
people. Depending on the number we go by car or by minibus.
If you want to join us, please call or text Maria on +37126383251. I will add you to our chat room and
you will know about our plans for the nearest future.
In the meantime, I will tell you about some of our previous excursions.
A tour in darkness at Rainis and Aspazija dacha Museum.
We were a large company of 9 people including 2 assistants, and we travelled by minibus. The
exposition was amazingly interesting. There was a lot to listen, touch and even smell! Its main
feature is that it can be interesting for the sighted as well as the blind. I do recommend it!
А trip to Ieriki Watermill (2021).
There was a small group of two people, an assistant and a guide dog. Our mood doesn't depend on
the number of people at all! It was a lot of fun and even extreme sometimes. Fresh air, the noise of
numerous waterfalls, swings and a wonderful cafe at the exit. Words can't express it all!

The Archaeological Museum in Araishi (2014).
There were 10 of us including 2 assistants, plus a guide dog. We drove by two cars. It was a long
drive and there was time to talk and discuss the issues at hand. LR4 journalist Yana Ermakova
accompanied us. She decided to do an experiment and wore a blindfold during the whole excursion.
Museum workers arranged a real adventure for us. We not only listened to interesting stories, but
also tried to beat butter out of milk using old-fashioned tools; we weaved multicolored belts, ground
flour with heavy millstones and smelled dried medicinal herbs.
